On January 31, 2009, we did an online word processing activity. We were divided into three (3) groups and each group had to view (1) inetword, (2) buzzword, and (3) thinkfree. As a group, we had to present to our classmates about what features each word processing has to offer and how we would rate it as a group.
I was in group one (1) inetword and I learned that you could create a web page using it. It provided a short introductary video as to how it words, what it has to offer, and etc... While watching the introductary video, I taught it was easy and cool. However, when I was trying to create my own webpage it was a lot harder than I taught. As a group, we rated it as a eight (8). With buzzword and thinkfree word processor, it had limited features to offer and it wasn't easy to access. So, the other groups rated it as 5.
We also had the chance to view google docs. I found this website to be very unique and cool because everyone could access it and edit any information at the same time. This is very useful for students and it could be used in the classroom through journal writing and etc...
