On February 28, 2009, we did a group presentation on slideshow.com. As a group, we decided to recreate the story "Goldilocks and the three bears". First we used power point to design the background of the story (for each scene). Using a digital camera, we took pictures of the power point background with the puppet character for each scene it possess for. Once we have completed the story, we uploaded the pictures on the computer and saved it in a folder. Then, we open the website on slideshow.com and uploaded the folder that we saved on to the slide show and that was how we created the slide show for "Goldilocks and the three bears".

Online Puzzles
On February 21, 2009, I created a word search and crossword puzzle using different websites. Both websites are great. They both easy to follow and fast to create. There is nothing difficult about creating the puzzles.
Online puzzles help children to learn through spelling words, vocabulary words, colors, numbers, and a lot more. Students will love the activity set for them. It could be challenging for some students but yet the learning is still in progress. It helps them built on their critically thinking on how to connect one another in the puzzle. Word search may be easy for some but crossword puzzle may be a lot difficult depending on the grade level they are at.
My Timeline
I had to create a timeline of my life which involves important events that happen in my life. Then, I had to share with the whole class the events that I have listed on the timeline.
I like this online software "www.teach-nology.com/web-tools/materials/timelines" because it was easy to follow and to the point. This software is great for children to follow as they create their own timeline.
I will use this online software in my future classroom. It is easy to follow and fast to create. My students could create timeline about important events that happen in their life, important events that happen in school, historical events that happen during World War II, and etc... The students would really enjoy this activity.

WebQuest
On February 07, 2009, we did a web quest. A web quest is a web base software in which you can create an interesting activity or assignment for students to research information on whether it would be on the Internet or at the library.
We were assigned in groups. As a group, we were to create our own web quest and it present to the whole class. We were to create a title page, introduction, task, process, evaluation, conclusion, and resource of a choice of activity we would like for students to explore. I found this web quest very interesting. It made me think about different ways on making the task interesting for students and to be eager to explore the task created.
I really enjoyed this activity. It was something new and fun. This is something that I would definitely use in my classroom.
